About
Food4Futures, also called Food4Futures-Ithemba Le Kamva, is a non-profit based in Makhanda/Grahamstown, Eastern Cape. Its main focus is hunger relief. The team visits each person, spending time with them and bringing food, supplements and medication. It listens to each person's needs and meets them wherever possible. Food4Futures works with the Department of Home Affairs to help people get their identity documents. When its storage room is full, recipients can come in and choose the items they need. The organisation also tries to collect at least 250 blankets a year for its parcel recipients and the car guards who visit regularly.
