Knysna Golf Club was founded in 1909 and is one of the country's oldest golf clubs. Its 18-hole course runs along the shores of the Knysna Lagoon, minutes from the Knysna Heads, with tidal pools, inlets, indigenous trees and birdlife. The layout is undulating and walkable, with long par-5s, imposing par-3s and challenging par-4s, and it has been upgraded over the past 10 years. The club is known for its friendly, relaxed atmosphere and its clubhouse, and visitors are welcome to join its competitions.
