About
Country College is an independent school in Volksrust, Mpumalanga. It began as a pilot project with 13 pupils and now teaches about 200 pupils, from the early grades up to Grade 7. Each grade has one class, and the school aims for 24 students per class. The school is registered with MPED and fully accredited by Umalusi, and it is a member of ISASA. It follows the CAPS curriculum, so pupils can move on to other schools and to high school without difficulty. As an independent school, it has room to adjust its academic planning and adds extra material to daily lessons. Younger pupils have computer lessons as part of the timetable, and other pupils can use the computer room for research and schoolwork.
