Village d'Afrique is a privately owned, intimate luxury tented camp on the Shakila game farm near Modimolle in Limpopo province. The lodge was designed to make the most of its surroundings while disturbing the local fauna and flora as little as possible. Luxury tents were chosen to enhance the bushveld experience, and the design has an indoor-outdoor feel. A communal lapa provides self-catering amenities, including a bar fridge, an ice maker and a television with DStv. It lies about 1 hour 45 minutes from Johannesburg, in the malaria free Waterberg.
