Duma Manzi is a wilderness and wellness retreat on the D60 near Richmond in KwaZulu-Natal, about an hour from Durban. Visitors reach the lodges by a 7km 4x4 drive into the Mkomazi Valley. The business runs three eco-lodges on the river. Sandstone Lodge has five suites, each with its own private plunge pool, and is aimed at two guests per suite. Fish Eagle Lodge is a private lodge for eight people, with four chalets on the river, a private boma, a swimming pool and a kitchen.
