The herd has been bred since 2004 and has grown to more than 300 animals, mainly for their wool, and the farm also sells breeding stock, herd guards and pets. Visitors can watch weavers at work in the studio and buy scarves, shawls, ponchos and blankets woven on the farm. Barn tours and guided alpaca walks introduce the animals and their fibre.
