About
The Highveld Horse Care Unit (HHCU) is based in Meyerton, Gauteng, and works for the welfare of equines in need. It is growing a team of volunteer ambassadors, mostly teenagers, and no riding experience is needed. Ambassadors represent HHCU at equine events and suitable non-equine events, raise awareness, share information and help with fundraising. The unit's work combines practical care, education and continued support, which it says helps equines build safer, healthier futures.
