About
Sanddrif Holiday Resort in the Cederberg, Western Cape, began as a family farm that let basic overnight rooms to hikers and climbers. It now has fully equipped self-catering units, each with its own braai area, and riverside camping with a private ablution block for each site. Campers bring their own braai grid, and electrical points are provided. Guests can hike, climb rocks, ride mountain bikes, run trails, watch birds or stargaze, and the Matjies River is good for a swim. Wine tasting is available at Cederberg Wines, and the farm shop sells Cederberg Brewery craft beers. There are no petrol stations along the way, so fill up in Clanwilliam, Citrusdal or Ceres first.
