Drakenstein Lion Park is a lion sanctuary in Paarl, Western Cape. It is open from 9.30am to 5pm every day, including public holidays, and is closed on 25 December. Lions are fed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 4pm. Safari tents stand in the heart of the lion sanctuary, surrounded by lion enclosures, and each has its own en suite bathroom fully equipped with linen and towels. Lions can also be adopted, and each adoptive parent receives an acknowledgement on the lions information board at the park.
