About
Matzikama Animal Care and Welfare NPC is a non-profit company in Vredendal that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes animals. The organisation is based behind the sports ground at the old horse stables near the Vredendal hospital. It says it relies on donations and sponsorships, and its website describes sterilisation, vaccination and treatment programmes for cats and dogs. Potential adopters go through a home check and an adoption process, and the organisation asks for a sterilisation at eight months where an animal has not yet been sterilised. Donations are welcome through the website.
