About
Fonteinskloof is a game farm at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains, next to the Marloth Nature Reserve, in Swellendam, Western Cape. It is about 10km from Swellendam on the R60 towards Ashton and roughly 250km from Cape Town. The farm is home to antelope such as bontebok, eland and sable, and also keeps fallow deer, zebra, springbok and wildebeest. Bird life is extensive, and a hiking trail passes through fynbos, the typical flora of the Western Cape. Visitors can also swim, play tennis or cycle.
