It covers more than 3,300 hectares of mountain grassland, streams and sandstone peaks in the Witteberg range. Visitors can ride on horseback through the equestrian centre, hike the reserve's routes, fish, cycle and go on eco drives. The property also has accommodation, hosts weddings and celebrations, and runs a leadership development centre for teams. The Moolmanshoek Heritage Foundation runs a restoration programme for the grasslands, wetlands and springs, and the reserve hosts the 4 Peaks mountain challenge.
